Reverse text can be a great way to highlight text in your card design. Reverse text can be made very easily in applications like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw and Xara. Simply type your text and change the font color to white (if you have a white background) or to whatever the background color of your card is. Below is an example. In this case the text has been made white, which isn't the color of the appointment card's background, still it works nevertheless. We used multiple colors for the days of the week and a navy blue color for the text and the underlined text. This particular card has a background of 20% cyan in the CMYK spectrum. The background shadow is a 3% black spectrum. The white color has all CMYK valuse at zero percent. The flip side below has the text informaion in Spanish, yet the name of the medical clinci remains in English and uses reverse text. This can be a great way to highlight the name of your medical clinic/office in your appointment cards.
